Echelon Pharma Solutions was founded by Anne Cropp with a focus to providing clinical development expertise to biopharmaceutical companies. As an innovator, Anne has held a number of global leadership positions in a Fortune-100 biopharmaceutical company. She has been responsible for the development and implementation of several investigational drug programs across a wide spectrum of disease areas in adult and pediatric patients.
Anne has experience across the full cycle of product development, early and late stage clinical devlopment, global submissions and commercialization. She has led several complex global mega protocols involving up to 35 countries and almost 900 investigative sites. Anne has hands on experience with the establishment of several Data Monitoring Committees, Event Classification Committees, and National Steering Committtees.
Anne has expertise in developing Pediatric Clinical Programs to meet the growing regulatory requirements for pediatric programs. She led a Fortune-100 company pediatric council for eight years, providing guidance to teams across many therapeutic indications. She has partnered with academia and biopharmaceutical companies in the development of a pediatric protocol template that is publically available.
As globally recognized expert in Early Access (Expanded Access, Compassionate Use ) for patients who have exhausted all treatment options and are not eligible for a clinical trial. She has presented and chaired several international scientific symposia on early access.
Anne is a pharmacist and board-certified Clinical Pharmacologist. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University and her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She was awarded the Roche Young Investigator Award on her work with naloxone in ischemic stroke. She completed her post-doctoral research fellowship in Cardiovascular Pharmacology at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo and was adjunct faculty at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was a National Institutes of Health Fogarty Fellow at the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute in Bethesda MD. Prior to founding Echelon Pharma Solutions, Anne was Vice President, Pfizer Inc.
